Tatting at Fort Hunter Day

Connie & I had a great time demonstrating tatting.  This was a spectacular event! It was great being in the Tavern with bobbin lace, quilter, and period doll clothing (and accessories) demonstrators. There was only one time (maybe 5 minutes) where only the vendors were in the room.

We had many people interested in participating in our workshop for beginners at the end of October. (More info to be posted soon.)

There was a lot  of interest in participating in our tatting workshop for beginniners on October 27.  Registrations have already started comming in.

New Items

I know, I've been a bad blogger...I'm hoping to change that.  One of my passions is being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  I don't limit myself to cards and scrapbboks.  I like to stretch my imagination.  A couple of weekends ago, I spent time at a crafting retreat and created a number of projects. 
Here are a few items I made.

These 'pendants in process' started out as dominos.  I stamped the images with Stampin' Up!s craft ink, and allowed each layer to dry a REALLY LONG time.  I love this stamp set, Established Elegance.  I also used some stamps from Open Sea which was carried over from the holiday mini.  I'm still working on layering the images and will cover with resin.

This cute little flowere was created with Stampin' Up!s silver glimmer paper, assorted inks, punches and of course my Big Shot.  I'm still working on it though.

Here are some of the brooches I made also using the Big Shot, Stampin' Up! fabric and some other fabric I had in my stash of supplies.

I promise, I'll post more often.  I have a lot of projects in the works.

Necklaces Added to our ETSY Store

I finally got my Rummikub tile necklaces added to our etsy store.  I used Crystal Effects to coat the paper and little hearts cut from aluminum cans.  I hope you like them.  I have some great projects planned and will post them as soon as I get them made.

Our Etsy Shop is finally open!
